Speaking exclusively to Coin Medium on the sidelines of the Global Blockchain Show in Abu Dhabi, Nenter Chow, the Global CEO of BitMart, expressed how 2025 will be remembered as a turning point in Web3 adoption and its convergence with traditional finance. Acknowledging the fact that volatility is difficult to predict, he said that “markets were moving beyond short-term trading to fundamental growth and infrastructure.”

Expanding Globally with Localization
Talking about BitMart’s strategy for 2026, Chow emphasized that their moves will be selective, targeting markets where the exchange can leverage flexibility and agility versus larger competitors. He revealed that BitMart was taking inspiration from traditional banking practices. “In the banking sector, you have your JP Morgans of the world, but then you also have sort of your regional players as well that excel in certain regions, certain products, and certain locations, and I think it’s very similar to the way our industry works.”
Asked about emerging products like prediction markets, Chow confirmed BitMart is watching these trends closely, since it is the newest hot topic for everyone to discuss. However, he pointed out that any potential experimentation in these areas would hinge on the evolution of regulations, which will ultimately shape the future of trading.
DeFi & Hybrid Wallets are the Way Forward
He quickly acknowledged that decentralised exchanges are growing more rapidly, and for a centralised exchange like BitMart, adapting to this trend would be necessary. He pointed out how DEXs and hybrid wallet products are becoming inevitable pillars for any major exchange.
When offering advice to traders facing market pressure, Chow urged a steady, long-term mindset over reactive trading. He said he was a hodler and recommended keeping “dry powder” ready to deploy when sentiment is low. He ended with a caveat that this was his personal mantra and not a financial advice.
