The third edition of Japan’s flagship Web3 conference, WebX2025 was successfully concluded in August.
The Expo was organised by Coin Post, and Coin Medium joined as one the media partners.
As many as 240 speakers took the stage at WebX 2025 in Tokyo, Japan on 25th and 26th August 2025.
Over 14,000 attendees got the opportunity to parktake in insightful discussions, innovative showcases, and strategic networking including stablecoins, AI, tokenization, and more.
The Web3 Salon Area hosted VC Connect, bringing together the global crypto startup community. It held a series of panels, keynotes, and one-on-one meetings between investors, founders, and creators.
The Expo was also graced by many prominent speakers, from policymakers to industry titans, including the now former Prime Minister of Japan, Shigeru Ishiba.
Furthermore, WebX 2025 revealed that Japan will launch a Web3 investment to bring Japanese anime and manga intellectual property (IP) onto blockchain platforms.
In fact, Japanese Governor Yuriko Koike attending WebX2025 said that WebX helps to tackle Climate, Food and Energy Challenges.

WebX 2025 FinTech EXPO
Meanwhile, the WebX FinTech EXPO was held in Osaka on 22 August in partnership with SBI Holdings.
The FinTech EXP brought together over a thousand regulators and global financial leaders.
