Japanese Governor Yuriko Koike attending WebX2025 says WebX is sowing seeds of innovation to tackle Climate, Food and Energy Challenges.
WebX 2025 is currently underway in Tokyo, Japan.
“The WebX 2025 conference has contributed to the sowing of numerous seeds of innovation”, she said.
“We are facing an unpredictable global landscape, with a worsening climate crisis, and problems related to food and energy stability. We find ourselves in an increasingly harsh environment.”
Yuriko Koike went on to elaborate the importance of combining technology with sustainability.
“We must bring together the wisdom of the world and utilize cutting-edge technology to forge a sustainable future”, she added.
“We will continue supporting financial digitalization through the application of blockchain and other technologies.”
WebX 2025, Asia’s leading Web3 conference hosted by CoinPost, Japan’s premier crypto and Web3 media outlet.
This year, the expo draws over 20,000 visitors including blockchain and crypto enthusiasts from over 88 countries.
Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba took the stage at the opening ceremony to outline Japan’s direction for the future of Web3.
