Real Vision co-founder Raoul Pal told a packed crowd at Day 2 of Binance Blockchain Week that 2026 will see crypto’s big moment. He said that the momentum will be driven by an ‘everything rally,’ which will be fueled by the deliberate U.S. fiscal and monetary stimulus under the Trump administration.
Taking questions from Coin Bureau CEO Nick Puckrin, Pal predicted a “flood of global liquidity” starting in Q1 2026, triggered by treasury debt refinancing. Pal argued that current market weakness and disorderly sentiment were a setup for future strength. He described sentiment as washed out, with most assets failing to reach new highs, barring a handful like Bitcoin.
We will also see relaxed bank leverage rules with changes in SLR coming into effect in January, and hopefully a well-worked-out fiscal package. “The plumbing is already turning on,” Pal said, pointing to surprise regulatory moves forcing banks to load up on Treasuries and potential unlimited risk-weighting relief.
He dismissed the current wash-out in sentiment and altcoin performance, noting almost nothing except Bitcoin and BNB has hit new highs this cycle, an anomaly that historically precedes explosive moves. Pal compared today’s price action to the 50% mid-2021 correction that preceded new all-time highs, declaring the four-year cycle narrative “dead” and a multi-year supercycle now underway.
Speaking of when one can expect the much-anticipated Alt Season, Pal compared it to the ISM manufacturing index, and if that crosses 50 as expected with more stimulus, then people would have more income, and that would spark a risk-on capital flow that will pour down the curve.
“Retail isn’t here yet,” he stressed. “When they see Bitcoin threatening $200k, they’ll ask: ‘Do I buy something that can 2x or something that can 10x?’ History says they chase the 10x.” Pal cautioned that 2026 greed will be ferocious, urging investors to stick to high-quality layer-1s, avoid leverage, and resist FOMO into micro-cap noise.
His simple message is, “Hold majors, keep a tiny degen bag for fun, and let compounding do the work.” Calling 2026 “the year of the yellow fruit,” Pal left the stage to roaring applause, forecasting the long-awaited “Banana Zone” of parabolic gains across crypto.
