Eric Trump is threatening legal action over a newly launched cryptocurrency project claiming to represent the Trump brand.
He said in a X post that “Official $TRUMP Wallet” was created without the family’s consent or involvement.
Eric Trump sent a series of text messages denying any connection between the Trump family and the wallet, which was announced Monday on a website branding itself as the official platform for the Trump-backed crypto wallet.
“The Trump Organization has zero involvement with this wallet product. Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump know nothing about it.”

The controversy escalated after the site claimed that NFT marketplace Magic Eden had partnered with GetTrumpMemes.com, the creator of the Trump-themed meme coin, to launch the crypto wallet.

Magic Eden’s CEO Jack Lu promoted the project on social media, calling it a legitimate collaboration with the “$TRUMP team.”
But Trump family members quickly refuted those claims.
Both Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump publicly stated they had no involvement in the initiative.
