Golden Trump: Now Accepting Bitcoin Tributes in Washington D.C.

Golden Trump

Memecoiners, particularly Pump.fun livestreamers just went crazy and dropped a 12-foot golden trump statue right on the National Mall in Washington, DC!

In the statue President Donald Trump is holding a Bitcoin like it’s his BFF. It’s made of foam so essentially light enough to be able to carry but heavy on vibes, as memecoiners would agree.

Golden Trump Statue: A Shiny Tribute to Bitcoin’s Biggest Cheerleader

Plonked just across from Union Square, just about a mile away from the White House, this foam-crafted masterpiece is a love letter to Trump’s crypto revolution.

Interestingly, this also coincided with the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates for the first time this year by 25 basis points on the 17th of September 2025.

This is seen as a bullish move for Cryptocurrency in general and for Bitcoin of course which is right now at $117,264.

The statue’s website says it’s all about celebrating Trump’s “unwavering commitment to Bitcoin and decentralized finance.”

With Trump pushing crypto harder than a miner chasing that last block, this Trump statue essentially their way of shouting, “Thank you, Mr. President!”

However, Democrats say Bitcoin has been stable since 2023, back when Democrat President Joe Biden was in power.

Is this perspective or mere sour grapes? You decide.

Memecoin Madness Meets Foam-tastic Art with Golden Trump Statue

The Pump.fun crew (not the main team of course), mostly anonymous (because decentralized finance), whipped up a memecoin to go with their livestream.

Love it or hate it, this statue’s sparking big convos about crypto, politics, and the future of money.

This golden Trump isn’t the first statue to crash the National Mall party.

Earlier this year, two anti-Trump sculptures stirred the pot: a giant golden hand crushing the Statue of Liberty’s crown and a gold TV blasting a Trump-Epstein dance video.

But this Golden Trump statue hugging Bitcoin is the first to give the president a glowing high-five.

Hichem Zaghdoudi, one of the organisers of the statue said, it’s “a symbol of the intersection between modern politics and financial innovation.”

So, will this golden Trump inspire more crypto craziness? Will memecoiners keep turning the National Mall into their personal art gallery? I guess only time will tell the tale.
